That’s it. I must declare Smashburger the reigning champion of burgers in downtown SD. Better than hodads, better than bareback grill. I just can’t seem to remember to take a photo of this food before its entirely destroyed and in my belly. Today’s victim? The mushroom and swiss smash with grilled onions and smash sauce added. Side of fried pickles. And some of those fried pickles made their way to my burger. Oh god. I die. And if you’re coming to comic con next week, this is probably where you want to eat.
